Forward Jack Flag:

Size of the eye-let should be ½ inch.  Grommets are normally at each inside corner end that is on the side of the flag that will be attached to the pole.  We use rope rather than hooks for the flag to be attached.  We will supply the rope.

Many clients have used other flag sizes successfully.  It really is a matter of personal preference.  Once the flags do not exceed the pole size then we can fly your flag.

​

There are many different types of fabrics like Nylon, Polyester, Synthetic Fiber or a mix of Cotton with one of these fabrics.  Whomever you use to make the flag will give you different options because you can also have Shiny or Matt surfaces.  If you want to use it outside of the trip on the yacht then you should ask for a more durable fabric.

All shapes have been used from the traditional rectangular shape to the historic swallow-tailed burgee and to the very popular triangle-shaped pennant.

There are many production methods:

Applique       Material sewn onto material

Silk Screen   Permanent ink pushed through a screen onto flag so it adheres to material

Acid-Dye       Inks acid-dyed into material of flag

Digital Print  Inks are printed onto material with digitally precise micro-droplets.
