CUSTOMS, IMMIGRATION, VISAS & INOCULATION

Standard Customs & Immigration procedures are followed in all our ports of call.  On arrival in each port the yacht’s staff will meet with the local officials and present guests' passport together with all the necessary paperwork.

VISAS

As per our contract with you, visa requirements are the guests’ responsibility.  Depending upon nationality, guests may be required to obtain visas from the consulates of multiple countries pertaining to the itinerary. Failure to obtain the necessary visas will result in serious delays and guest will be denied boarding. Please check with the proper government agency/consulates for visa requirements. SeaDream Yacht Club has arranged a partnership with CIBT who, for a service fee, will assist in obtaining a visa and other required documents by applying on your behalf, and can also arrange for your passport renewal, if necessary.

Every country has its own entry requirements, and guests must assume personal responsibility for having the necessary documents when boarding.

PASSPORT

Passsports are required for all nationalities on all sailings. Make sure guests' passports are valid for at least six months beyond your expected date of return, and has blank pages for visas or authority stamps. Passports will be collected during embarkation and held by the Chief Purser for clearance in each port. On disembarkation day, passports will be returned to each guest after final immigration clearance. If applicable, Customs forms will be distributed to the staterooms the evening before disembarkation. The vessel is normally cleared by the officials as soon as possible after arrival. Please be advised that the yacht cannot control Customs and Immigration.

CUSTOMS

Any equipment brought on board by the charter will have to be cleared and itemized by a Custom House both at embarkation & disembarkation.  If costs should be involved these will be at the charterer’s expense.  A list of any items taken onboard should be given to your charter coordinator in advance of boarding; this includes gifts and musical equipment. Please contact your SeaDream Charter Coordinator and ask for the form to be filled.

INOCULATION
All guests must ensure that they are medically and physically fit for travel. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide guidelines as to which vaccinations are required in each country. In many cases inoculations are recommended, but in some circumstances, they are required. We suggest that you check with your health care professional for guidance.
